Wes Osborn – Executive Director

Wes has worked for the Central Library Consortium (CLC) since 2001. Previously he was the project coordinator for Photohio.org, which is now maintained at CLC. Wes has worked in libraries since high school. He started as a page in the Newark Public Library and was then promoted to the position of Assistant Systems Administrator. Wes met his wife (Laura) while they were both working at the Newark Library. They share the same passion for the critical role that libraries play in providing equal access to information for all. They are also avid supporters of the performing arts. They live in Lancaster, Ohio where Wes enjoys gardening, cooking and performing with the Lancaster Men’s Chorus and Lancaster Community Chorus.

Michael Fields – Developer

Michael Fields came to the Central Library Consortium after four years of working at the Elyria Public Library. During this time Michael helped with general day to day IT operations for five library branches while also helping to design and implement many web services. He also played a crucial part in several server and system migrations. Michael holds associate’s degrees in Network Communication Technology and in Software Development from the Lorain County Community College. Before this he studied Network Communication Technology at the Lorain County Join Vocational School. Mike is a lifelong Cleveland Browns fan despite their many ups and downs. At home, Mike enjoys homebrewing and BBQing.

Jamal McClendon – Windows Server Administrator

Jamal joined the CLC as a graduate from Wright State University with his Master’s in Information Systems. Jamal graduated from Wilmington College in 2016, with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts with a concentration in Media Production. After Jamal graduated, he started working for the Wilmington College Information Technology Department as the Customer Service Coordinator. After a few months, he was promoted to Network Technician. After many years he made his way back to Columbus. He enjoys building computers, cooking, bike riding, and skating.

Kalee Burkett – ILS System Administrator

Kalee joined CLC in 2018 after eighteen months with the Collection Services department at the Columbus Metropolitan Library (CML). She was the administrative assistant for CLC for three years while maintaining her role at CML before her promotion to Helpdesk and Membership Coordinator in 2021. She has a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science from Kent State University and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English from the University of Central Oklahoma. Kalee lives in Reynoldsburg with her husband and their four cats. She enjoys reading, cooking, supporting local sports, and running Dungeons and Dragons 5e games.


Becca Ebright – Helpdesk and Membership Coordinator

Becca joined the CLC in June of 2022. She previously worked in the private sector as an executive assistant in both public accounting and manufacturing. She holds a bachelors degree in Art History and World Literature from The Ohio State University. Becca lives in Dublin with her husband, two, dogs, and two cats. She enjoys playing volleyball, backpacking, board games, supporting local bookstores, and sewing costumes for renaissance festivals.
