Wes Osborn – Executive Director of Information Technology

Wes has worked for the Central Library Consortium (CLC) since 2001. Previously he was the project coordinator for Photohio.org, which is now maintained at CLC. Wes has worked in libraries since high school. He started as a page in the Newark Public Library and was then promoted to the position of Assistant Systems Administrator. Wes met his wife (Laura) while they were both working at the Newark Library. They share the same passion for the critical role that libraries play in providing equal access to information for all. They are also avid supporters of the performing arts. They live in Lancaster, Ohio where Wes enjoys gardening, baking and performing with the Lancaster Men’s Chorus and Lancaster Community Chorus.

Michael Fields – Developer

Michael Fields came to the Central Library Consortium after four years of working at the Elyria Public Library. During this time Michael helped with general day to day IT operations for five library branches while also helping to design and implement many web services. He also played a crucial part in several server and system migrations. Michael holds associate’s degrees in Network Communication Technology and in Software Development from the Lorain County Community College. Before this he studied Network Communication Technology at the Lorain County Join Vocational School. Mike is a lifelong Cleveland Browns fan despite their many ups and downs. At home, Mike enjoys homebrewing and BBQing.

Kelly Hock – ILS System Administrator

Kelly joined the Central Library Consortium in 2014 after nearly 14 years with the Columbus Metropolitan Library. Most recently, Kelly was working in a Business Analyst role for CML’s Finance department, and was the system analyst for their Finance and Human Resources management system. Kelly has extensive training experience, having been a staff trainer for CML’s customer service training, as well as a staff trainer for their leadership development and coaching program. Kelly recently graduated from the Gestalt Institute of Central Ohio’s post-graduate training program for organizational consulting. She graduated from Ohio University in 2001 with a Bachelors degree in Organizational Communication. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, traveling, volunteering for the Tour of the Scioto River Valley, and spending time with her Fiancé and two cats.

Sam Lewis – Windows and SQL System Administrator

Sam is the newest recruit to the Central Library Consortium, joining after three years of working at Worthington Libraries. For Worthington, Sam helped manage the various information technology services and devices that the library’s three branches used on a day to day basis as well as innovative projects, keeping the library up to modern standards. An Eagle Scout, Sam holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University. Outside the library world, Sam loves to tinker with electronics and enjoys Broadway theatre and frequent visits to the Columbus Zoo, the best zoo in the nation!

Kalee Fouts – Administrative Assistant

Kalee joined the CLC after eighteen months with the Collection Services department at the Columbus Metropolitan Library. She still maintains a part time job with CML working primarily with serials and standing orders.

She is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science at Kent State University and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English from the University of Central Oklahoma. Kalee lives in Reynoldsburg, Ohio with her fiance, Travis, and their three cats. In her free time, she enjoys practicing Brazilian jiu jitsu, experimenting in the kitchen, and reading.
