Planned Service Outage 9/20/14-9/21/14

The CLC member libraries catalog will be offline from 6:00 PM on Saturday, 09/20/2014 to approximately 12:00 PM on Sunday, 09/21/2014. During that time we will be moving to a new database server. This new database server will enable us to move to a new version of the catalog software later this year.

During the move all catalog services will be offline including access to My Account and searching for materials.

Why Can’t I Log into my Account?

The Central Library Consortium is adding three new members!  As part of this exciting change, we need to stop some services for a software upgrade and data migration.

From 9pm on Thursday, April 3 through 9am on Wednesday, April 9, you cannot log in to check your account or complete other account-related functions, such as placing holds.  The online catalog will remain available with limited functionality.  The availability of a particular item— is it on the shelf?– will not be accurate during this time.  Please call the library to determine if the item you are looking for is actually available to check out.

Thank you for your patience while we make these changes.  We look forward to seeing you again on April 9 when 14 library systems will begin partnering to serve 1.4 million residents across six counties with more than 4.5 million items in our combined catalog!

Planned Service Outage 12/14/13-12/15/13

The CLC member libraries catalog will be offline from 6:00 PM on Saturday, 12/14/2013 to approximately 12:00 PM on Sunday, 12/15/2013. During that time we will be reloading all our MARC records. MARC records provide information about the material in the catalog (title, author, etc.). The CLC is reloading these MARC records to improve the quality of search results and browsing in our catalog.

During the reload ALL Catalog services will be offline including access to My Account and searching for materials.

CLC Catalog Offline Labor Day 2013

The CLC member libraries catalog will be offline Labor Day 2013 (September 2nd). During that time we will be reloading all our MARC records. MARC records provide information about the material in the catalog (title, author, etc.). The CLC has sent its MARC records out to a 3rd party service to be “cleaned up”. After reloading the records patrons will have more reliable search results when looking for material in the CLC catalog.

During the reload ALL Catalog services will be offline including access to My Account and searching for materials.
